This demo will show you how to use a few simple materials - a discarded feed/seed bag, a thrifted pillowcase, an old belt, and some basic sewing notions - to create a reusable shopping bag that will stand up to your heaviest shopping haul. Ages 13+

This project requires basic sewing skills. Each registrant will leave the demo with the supplies needed to create one feed bag tote at home.  Don't have a sewing machine of your own? Call the idea lab for more information about the sewing machines available for use at the Blasco Library.
